The Story
Designed for both professional bakers and passionate home bakers, this Mississippi-style chocolate mud cake offers superior stability for ganache, fondant finishing, and layered fillings. Perfect for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and specialty cake designs.
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 150°C
2. Mix: In a mixing bowl, combine the pack with eggs, water, and chocolate paste. Mix on low speed for 1 minute until the ingredients start to combine. Scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure even mixing. Increase the mixer speed to high and continue mixing for 2 minutes until smooth. Scrape down the sides again. Reduce the mixer speed to medium speed (second speed) and slowly add the vegetable oil. Mix for an additional 2 minutes.
Be careful not to overmix
3. Bake: When filling your cake tin, be sure to leave approx. 2-3 cm of space from the top. This allows room for the cake to rise evenly without overflowing during baking. It is recommended to line your tin with baking paper. For optimal results, cover your tin with foil with foil while baking. Baking times may vary depending on your oven. Please ensure the cake is fully baked before removing it from the oven.
